This post is going to be very rushed, because I have to get ready to leave soon! For lunch, I whipped up what I call a “belly slimming” salad. On a bed of romaine, I added shredded carrot, cucumber, bell pepper, about an oz of avocado, some toasted slivered almonds, some dried cranberries, and a gardenburger chik’n grill that I sliced up all drizzled with some delicious sesame ginger dressing. It was super filling, and I felt great eating it. With my salad, I had a juicy peach. Healthy, satisfying, and slimming!

I’m about to get my dress on, and finish some odds and ends.. I’ll see you all tomorrow, and I’ll be posting all about the prom of course! Enjoy your Friday and upcoming weekend! Wish me luck!

I’m trying to come up with some sliming meals so that my stomach is as flat as possible in my dress for tonight (silly, I know), so I’m eating a bit lighter today than usual. I started my day out with a bowl of oats (only 1/4 cup.. we’re all out of oats!) with about 3 tbsp of wheatberries, 1/2 a flax pak, almond milk, maple syrup, 1 very small banana, a handful of blueberries, a couple of sliced strawberries, and a spoon of almond butter. It was really delicious, and it surprisingly filled me up, even though I only used a 1/4 cup of oats.

All I’m doing now is getting ready for tonight; I still have to pack my bag (we’re staying at a hotel), do my hair and makeup, etc. Hopefully the night will be a lot of fun, even though I’m not anticipating it in the slightest.. I’ll be glad when I get it over with! My best friend feels the same way I do about the whole thing.. I’ll be happy to come home on Saturday. See you all for lunch!
