I just enjoyed the most terrific tasting soup EVER. I had Candle’s Sweet Potato Soup for lunch, and it was as divine as soup can possibly get. Alongside their house-made pita chips for dunking, this lunch was filling, nutritious, and best of all, SO delicious! I can’t wait to have the Avocado Soup soon!

After my fabulous lunch, I went to Whole Foods with mom to restock the kitchen a bit.. the refrigerator was practically bare! I actually remembered to take pictures of my groceries this time too!

tons of strawberries, bananas, frozen asian stir-fry mix, salad greens, haricot verts, yellow bell pepper, an avocado, grape tomatoes, a mango, and watermelon

almond dream, vanilla hempmilk, peanut butter pows, justin’s organic peanut butter packs (the BEST), amy’s split pea, imagine butternut squash soup, chocolate protein powder, peach snack packs, so delicious strawberry banana coconut milk yogurt, and nancy’s lowfat cottage cheese

And possibly the most exciting Whole Foods find today were these incredible looking Vegan Fair Trade Brownies!!! And can you believe these guys are practically fat free?! The ingredient list is: Evaporated Cane Juice, Water, Dutch Cocoa Powder, Whole Wheat Flour, Flax Meal, Soy Protein Powder, Baking Powder, and Salt! I’m already excited for dessert!

Turns out that my dad can’t make it for dinner tonight, so I’ll be making a home-cooked meal for the first time in a couple of weeks! I’m actually pretty excited to get myself in the kitchen once again.. it’s about time!

My kitchen cabinet is looking more and more like Jerry Seinfeld’s by the day.. I have so many different boxes of cereal! Lately, mixing and matching them has been my favorite summer comfort breakfast.. I apologize for all of the redundancy! It’s pretty apparent that the “lazy bug” has bitten me, because I’ve not only been unmotivated to cook dinner, but even making breakfast is a bit of a stretch lately!

Breakfast was a HUGE bowl of cereal; kashi honey puffs, strawberry fields, and clifford crunch with the usual almond milk and banana. This combo was another winner.. super sweet, just how I like it! But I must say, it was hard to get this whole bowl down considering there were approx. 3 cups of cereal in there! I’m pretty stuffed!

In a little while, I’ll need to make a stop at Whole Foods for some groceries, and then I’ll see if I’m in the mood to get a quick workout in for the day. My dad asked me out for dinner again tonight, so I’ll be joining him then. Off to get some things done.. see you soon!
