Sorry for such a delayed post.. I spent my evening/night being the true couch potato I am watching the rest of Weeds. Some exciting 4th of July I had!
But dinner was fantastic nonetheless! I made Jenna’s recipe for Sweet and Sour Cabbage alongside some sauteed garlicky kale, brown rice, and some crispy breaded tofu. The entire meal was absolutely delicious, but the best part HAD to be the cabbage.. seriously, it the best veggie side dish I’ve ever eaten. EVER. I could’ve eaten an entire plateful of this stuff, it was that good! Who knew you could make plan old cabbage taste this amazing?! Thanks so much for providing the terrific recipe Jenna! This one’s most definitely a keeper, and I’ll be making plenty of it from now on! Four terrific sides as a fourth of july dinner.. yuuuuummy!
For dessert, I had my favorite treat ever; a Vegan Chocolate Chip Scone from Whole Foods. Gotta celebrate a little! And my definition of celebrating most definitely involves a deeeeelicious scone!
Off to bed.. see you all in the morning! Hope everyone had a more eventful night than I did!

Haha never fear…I didn’t feel like being too crazy last night either, and went home early to do some more studying and enjoy charlie’s angels on TV! I think a ton of us food bloggers are real home bodies!! Fine by me!!

Haha, that makes me feel a little bit better. I’m a home body to a certain extent, but I really do enjoy going out.. I just didn’t want my mom to spend the day alone!
